Eleology’s 2026 Awards: A Year of International Recognition

Eleology’s 2026 Awards: A Year of International Recognition

For us at Eleology, every award carries special meaning. It is a recognition of the quality of our product, but also of the work behind it: the care given to the olive groves, the collaboration with our producers and the attention to every stage until the final result.

2026 has been another year of important international distinctions for Eleology. Our organic extra virgin olive oil stood out in major competitions in Japan, the United States, Greece and Germany, among entries from countries with a strong presence in the world of extra virgin olive oil.

The value of these awards goes beyond the medal itself. It lies in the process behind each distinction: tastings, expert panels and evaluation based on specific quality criteria. For us, each award is a meaningful confirmation that our product can stand alongside exceptional products from around the world and be recognized for its quality.

Eleology’s presence at Olive Japan this year was particularly strong, with three important distinctions. Olive Japan is one of the most significant international competitions in Asia, and in 2026 it gathered 801 entries from 29 countries. In this highly competitive environment, Eleology Early Harvest received a Silver Award, while Eleology Single Variety and Chef’s Table were both awarded Gold Awards. Recognition in Japan is especially meaningful to us, as it is a market that places great value on detail, complexity and balance of taste.

In the United States, Eleology stood out at the Los Angeles International EVOO Competition, one of the most recognized international competitions for extra virgin olive oil. The evaluation is based on a 100-point system, with criteria such as fruitiness, complexity and harmony. There, Eleology Early Harvest received a Silver Award, a distinction that highlights its bold character and quality. At the same time, Nature’s Blend was awarded Gold for Packaging, confirming that our attention does not stop at the product itself, but continues through the way it is presented to the consumer.

One of the most special moments of the year was the distinction of Eleology Single Variety at the JOOP – Japan Olive Oil Prize. JOOP is an international competition based in Japan, where evaluation takes place through blind tasting and with judges from different countries. In 2026, the competition included 463 entries, making the distinction even more meaningful. Eleology Single Variety received a Gold Award and the Best of Greece distinction, highlighting both the quality of the product and its position as a Greek entry in a demanding international competition.

The distinctions at the Athena International Olive Oil Competition also hold special value. Athena is an international competition held in Greece and has built a strong presence in the field. In 2026, it gathered 657 samples from 24 countries, reflecting the high level of competition. In this context, Eleology Single Variety received a Gold Award, while Eleology Early Harvest was awarded Bronze. For us, these distinctions are especially meaningful because they come from a competition connected to our home country, while evaluating products according to international standards and bringing together internationally acclaimed judges from 12 countries.

In Germany, Eleology was distinguished at BIOFACH, the international trade fair, through the Biofach Olive Oil Award. BIOFACH is one of the most important global events for organic food, which gives this recognition particular weight for an organic extra virgin olive oil. At the Biofach Olive Oil Award, the evaluation is carried out through blind tasting by professional trade visitors, who taste and vote based on flavor, aroma and overall impression. In 2026, Eleology Early Harvest and Nature’s Blend were recognized in a setting closely connected to organic cultivation, sustainability and quality.

Behind all these distinctions lies the same steady direction: to offer high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil, produced with respect for the environment and for people. An important part of this journey is our collaboration with independent producers across Greece — people who care deeply for their land and share our belief in quality, consistency and transparency.

The 2026 distinctions continue a journey that had already gained strong momentum in 2025, with important awards in international competitions such as the Los Angeles International EVOO Competition, Olive Japan, the Athena International Olive Oil Competition and the JOOP – Japan Olive Oil Prize.

Each award is a moment of joy for us, but also a responsibility. It gives us the strength to continue with the same love for what we do and the same commitment to quality.
